The NIALS International Journal of Legal Studies publishes high quality, refereed articles in the rapid growing and versatile field of legal jurisprudence with particular reference to topical and engaging issues of law that affect Nigeria specifically and the international community generally. The journal aims to (a) provide governments and institutions with options and strategies to deal with the legacies of criminal law enforcements, human rights abuses and violations, environmental problems, socio-economic/legal problem of copyrights infringement, as well as ethical issues in health practitioners/patients relationships amongst others; and (b) effect social reconstruction in the wake of widespread confusion and controversies surrounding legal applications of rules of engagement in the fight against corruption, administration of the principle of plea bargaining, insolvency practice and many others. Topics covered by the journal include (but are not limited to) Environmental Law and State Responsibilities, Perspectives on Trafficking in Persons, Civil Remedies for Copyright Infringement, Nigerian Business Rescue Model and Plea Bargaining in the Administration of Criminal Justice
