Abstracts Of Legal And Policy Framework Relevant For The Implementation Of Afcfta In Nigeria

The African continent has charted its course towards sustainable economic growth and development. It focuses on industrialisation Article 3(2)(f) due to its transformative capabilities, and it promotes economic diversification as a strategic approach towards industrialisation. This places Africa in a position to expand its manufacturing base, increase growth and improve the living standards of Africans while at the same time increasing the level of participation of Africa in global trade and investment. The Abstracts of Legal and Policy Framework for the Implementation of AfCFTA in Nigeria gives a highlight of the framework that allows for the necessary structural changes which Nigeria requires to implement the AfCFTA. It also offers an insight into the changes that need to be made in order to effectively implement the agreement and realise its objective.
