This Special Edition of the NHLPJ examines the applicable legal, regulatory and policy instruments to COVID-19 in Nigeria and interrogates the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the implications of the pandemic on the public health sector in Nigeria. This edition of the journal presents a wide range of articles evaluating current laws, regulations, response mechanisms and strategies of the Nigerian government at both Federal and State levels to public health issues, especially since the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, Hubei Province China in December 2019.
